Wedding of Jennifer Cohen and Pedro Allende – A Real Life Rom-Com

Life isn’t always like the movies, but the relationship between Jennifer Cohen and Pedro Allende comes pretty close. Helping to unite her elegance and passion for food with his sense of humor and comedic timing was like watching your favorite romantic comedy come to life.
What could have been just another traditional wedding held at Miami’s historic Gesu Catholic Church was anything but. Touches of gold, champagne, white and blush tones adorned every surface. Crystal candelabras bedecked tables set with custom-made linens and charger plates came together to complete the exquisite look.
The bride, being a bit of a foodie and a chef by passion, naturally wanted a menu that would exhibit her love of food. Aiming to craft a menu that would appeal to the tastes of all her guests, we arranged an ensemble of delicate entrées and luscious desserts to provide the sense of dining in an exquisite restaurant.
The groom was known for his warm and fun-filled personality. Throughout planning and the wedding day itself, he was always there—as if on cue–to put an easy smile on his beautiful bride’s face. The bride even commissioned a special groom’s cake featuring a character from one of his favorite shows, “Family Guy,” to recognize her fond appreciation of his wonderful sense of humor.
All 250 guests had a wonderful time participating in the momentous celebration–from savoring the delectable dishes to reveling on the dance floor to the live music all night.
At the end of the day, each wedding is completely unique. Our goal at Elite Planning is to make each event reflect the couple’s personalities and their love for one another. This couple’s special day will certainly stand out as one of the more memorable events.
