The Wedding of Kristin and Anthony Richards – The Love Boat Sets Sail

Kristin and Anthony met aboard a cruise ship, doing what they both love: traveling. After they got engaged and started planning their wedding, they agreed it would be a fun idea to incorporate a travel-based theme into several aspects of their ceremony. Operating within the confines of the organic and rustic Bath Club, what they created was nothing short of perfection.
They started by seating their approximately 150 guests at tables named after locations they had visited throughout their travels: Rome, Malaga, Pisa, St. Croix, Miami and even Texas, where the parents of the bride live. With their choice of entrée, guests selected travel-inspired dishes from menus carefully designed by Thierry’s Catering. Our favorite touch? The programs were made to resemble passports, a fitting prop to signify this new journey in both of their lives.
The ceremony beautifully highlighted the special bond that these two families shared. I was lucky enough to be able to get to know the mother of the bride throughout the planning process. Within minutes, you can quickly get a sense how much this couple and their families genuinely cared for the other. Kristin and Anthony put so much of themselves into the special day, hand-crafting details like ribbon wands for the grand exit and favors for the guests that really personalized the whole experience, making it truly memorable.
It’s always wonderful to help someone’s dream become a reality, especially one that highlights two amazing people. Watching the love both the couple and their families share touched my heart and made the experience all the more worth it.
Kristin and Anthony are currently enjoying their new life together in beautiful Miami, FL. I can’t wait to see where their greatest adventure will take them.
